We are so sad to say that Annapurna passed peacefully at the age of almost 19. She still looked great and every time I saw her since she retired I was tempted to breed her one more time. We have one daughter in our herd Annabelle who we cherish. HERITAGE STUD FEMALE. Still looking like a two year old. Her sons sell like hotcakes and with the quality she produces who cares what sex it is? Her latest Zion boy as yet unnamed(sold at 4 months), a replica of his 3 older brothers Alexzander, Sequoia and Commander, all four have sold as herdsire quality males. They all have fleece that is extremely bright and dense, traits that are typical of this match between Anna and Zion. Hannah(Sold) her daughter by Haldane, a Hemingway son, has a very fine but dense Hemingway style fleece. Hannah is the dam of a son Hawthorne on our sales list. Anna easily delivered a 22 llb girl named ANNABELLE on 4/11/2013 sired by MFI Impact a son of recently deceased MFI White Gold.White of course with very fine crimpy fleece and big bones. We will be keeping Annabelle"s Running Late daughter and great granddaughters Satin Bell's son Satin Signature and Lilikoi as the replacements from this line. Anna has always been very healthy and an easy breeder with lots of milk and still maintains a healthy body score without extra maintenance. With her good health and weight we think she has a number of healthy pregnancies left in her lifetime. She is one of the cornerstones of our herd and as a Snowmaster daughter is a vey rare commodity. Annapurna is our original alpaca purchase and has been a wonderful producer for us.
