Holly, is a lovely merino ewe sired by an award winning ram (2nd place, Black Sheep Gathering) and with genetics on both paternal and maternal sides from the renowned Mendenhall Wool Ranch of Loma Rica, California. This heavily skirted fleece, weighing 5.7 pounds, was entered into the Lexington Sheep and Fiber Festival in 2023 and was found to be very fine, has great staple length, and strong crimp. The color is a light cream.
